This Is Halloween!

“Boys and girls of everywhere would you like to see something strange, come with us you will see this our town of Halloween”

Disneyland is turning into the Halloween Town and I couldn’t be more excited! Now to start the festivities off this year i thought it would be fun to talk about some of the spooky fun happening at the parks…We have the pumpkin tree, Jack Skelington taking over Haunted Mansion, tram decorations, poison apples, and the GIANT pumpkin on Main Street!

Now there is so much more like merchandise and more decorations BUT i cannot wait till all the decorations are out and about! What is your favorite thing about Halloween in Disneyland?

Lets Read: Ch. 1 & 2

It’s been a week since I posted about the doggy reading club, I have read chapter 1 & 2 in Cesar Millan’s book Short Guide To a Happy Dog. I found the first two chapters were filled with a lot of information and I can’t wait to read more.

One of my favorite parts was when Cesar talked about how dogs have a short memory and live in the present and how their memory is about 20 seconds long. That’s crazy….and reminds me of the Disney/Pixar character Doug from the movie UP.

In chapter 2 I really loved when Cesar talked about the five laws. Personally I have always thought I had a good energy but so far reading this chapter there is so much I can work on so I can be a better pack leader for my pups.

Next Wednesday 09/14 we should be talking about Ch. 3&4, but for now…What did you find most interesting about the two chapters?? Let me know in the comments below.

Goodbye Disneyland 60th

Now its time to say goodbye to 60th anniversary celebration…the celebration kicked off May 22, 2015 with a 24 hour event where the park was open from 6am-6am this is also where Disney premiered three new nighttime shows, Paint The Night, Disneyland Forever and of course World Of Color: Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney!

Unfortunately all good things must come to an end…which brings me to September 5…the official last day of the Diamond Celebration. It was an emotional trip for me because  I love all the diamond celebration shows so its hard to see them go away. Thankfully i know that Paint The Night will be returning after he holiday festivities, which i am so excited about!

We have the new Frightfully Fun parade along with the headless horseman to look forward too and of course trick or treating in the park so as sad as it is to see some things go we can look forward to the castle returning back to normal, Halloween decorations, new park merchandise, I am hoping that Disneyland Forever will come back as well. What are you sad to see go with the Diamond Celebration? and what are the things you are most looking forward to seeing after the Diamond Celebration?

Final Days…ToT

As we already know Disneyland’s Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror will be getting a bit of a makeover to Guardians of The Galaxy  so we only have a limited time to step into the Twilight Zone.

Disney has officially announced that ToT’s final ride will be January 2, 2017. To make things more excited Disney said there will be a celebrating ToT final days by treating guests to a ‘late check out’ which means guests will get to experience the ride like they have never before.

With all the celebrating guests can find some commemorative merchandise items as well as food and beverage items through the celebration. Guests can also take a commemorative picture “checking out” with a special photo location in front of the Tower of Terror Hotel marquee, with luggage and the nods to the landmarks story.

Each day during Halloween Time the Hollywood Hotel will host a special performance by the Silver Lake Sisters, Dolly, Dottie and Ethel bounds along with the veterans of the vaudeville circuit know  professionally as Fiddler, Fifer and Practical for as a tribute to the hotel, be sure to stop by the cafe for some extra spooktacular fun!

As sad as i am to see ToT go i am really happy and excited Disney is doing this tribute because it is loved and it will be missed, so i am making sure i step into the Twilight Zone as much as i can before its makeover. Will you be visiting the hotel one more time?
