Spirit of Halloweentown!

It is October one of my all time favorite months because it contains my all time favorite holiday Halloween, here is a place that thinks Halloween is cool!

40 minutes outside Portland Oregon is the city of St. Helens which brings Halloweentown to life every October. The town hosts a month long Spirit of Halloweentown which has costume contests, raffles, pumpkin carvings, a walk down a scarecrow trail to a Haunted Mansion, and of course to complete the whole magical festivity off they even have the pumpkin lighting ceremony!

If St. Helens sounds familiar to you, its because this is where the 1998 DCOM was filmed, with a $4 million budget the films young talent had 24 day shoot and started production in the summer of 1998 tBUT to make things even more exciting and magical try and keep your eyes peeled because you might be standing next to the teen witch herself Kimberly J. Brown also known as Marnie.

I dont know about you but I LOVE this movie it is always on my Halloween movie list every year and I definitely would love to take time off to go and visit St. Helens. What about you?
