Blogmas Day 4/25: Pup Tarts

Although it might not sound very Christmasy BUT we can change that by adding some festive decorations, so let get started.

For the biscuit

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 teaspoons peanut butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

For the Icing

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

  • Banana (optional)

  1. Preheat oven to 350º
  2. Cover a cookie sheet with parchment paper
  3. Mix together flour, oats and cinnamon
  4. In a separate bowl whist pumpkin, eggs, and PB
  5. Combine both wet and dry ingredients
  6. Roll out your mixture as thick as you’d like, than cut out your dough
  7. Bake 30-35 minutes or until edges are brown
  8. Once they have cooled ice and decorate the treats

This is a fun treat to make its super simple and depending on how big you want your pup tarts is how long it’ll take them. Now to make it festive you can cut it into trees, stockings, candy canes and fill it with some berries to make the filling red or the icing on top of the treat. Will you be making these nifty treats for your pup this holiday season? Let me know in the comments below!
