25 Days of Christmas 2017: Day 5

Christmas Tree Meringue are the cutest things you can set on your table for this holiday season. They are so easy to make and super delicious, so here is what you need to make these super adorable treats.


  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/4 cream of tartar
  • 6 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • Gel green food coloring


  1. Preheat oven to 225º and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In mixer Beat egg white and cream of tartar  with whisk attachment on high speed until frothy.
  3. Beating constantly add 1 tbsp of sugar at a time, beating after each additional until sugar is dissolved before adding the next. (Rub a bit of meringue between your finger to see if its smooth). Continue beating until white are glossy and stand in soft peaks.
  4. Fold in vanilla and gel green food coloring, place in piping bag and pipe tress on your lined cookie tray. Bake for 50 minutes.

Now you can also decorate them with sprinkles but you should put those on before baking the meringues. Plus if these things get soften up you put them in the oven for aboThis is one of my favorite treats to make for the holiday season. They look so adorable and festive when they are out on the table and they go fast!
