Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party 2018 Mini Haul!

I was determined to go this year was of course the 25th anniversary of Hocus Pocus, and I had a feeling that there was going to be some Hocus Pocus merchandise that I was going to want. Thankfully, I didn’t spend an insane amount of money on account of I didn’t have room.

So I bought three things two exclusive to MNSSHP and one that is not. So I bought the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular 25th anniversary spirit jersey! I absolute LOVE this spirit jersey, I think its my favorite.

I then bought Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular 25th anniversary cauldron mug. It’s smaller then I thought BUT amazing and I treasure it dearly!

Last but not least I had to buy the premium cauldron popcorn bucket because it was the CUTEST bucket I have EVER seen in MY LIFE!!!! Not only is it cute, it has a hidden Mickey, and the best part…it lights up!

As for the actual party I had a blast and again so thankful I was able to FINALLY see the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular show where I never knew I could love Hocus Pocus even more then I did until then.

Oga’s Cantina!

Disney announced some exciting and I guess shocking details about Oga’s Cantina. Oga Garra is the owner, who adheres to a strict code of conduct!

Now no good cantina won’t have a story or two to tell especially this one because it attracts some of the most interesting and disreputable character in the galaxy you will definitely hear a great story.

The DJ who will provide musical entertainment to the cantina is non other then the former StarSpeeder 3000 pilot Android RX-24. Awesome right? Now what makes this cantina a little more special? I guess, is the fact that Disneyland will be breaking a tradition that started when the park first opened in 1955 for Oga’s. Yeup, you guessed it, the cantina will be serving alcohol.

Honestly, I don’t know how I feel about this quite yet. Let me know if you are excited or not for this upcoming Oga’s Cantina.

Pat Montandon known for being a socialite. In 1967 she wrote a book called “How to be a Party Girl” then began hosting a TV show “Pats Prized Movie” where she became close friends with Mary Louise Ward aka Mary Lou. Montandon had a zodiac themed party where the hired Tarot Card reader got angry cursing the house. The house had cold spells and appearing and disappearing bloodstains on the ceiling. Two weeks after the party, Pat arrived home and noticed her home had been ransacked, things were missing while others destroyed. The mysterious part of it was their was no evidence of a break in. There are four deaths associated with the house, three of them consisted of two of Montandan’s guests committed suicide, while her best friend passed away from a fire that broke out in the master bedroom. The mysterious part they were all unmarried females.

Some say that once Pat Montandan moved out, the ghostly encounters had stopped. So, was it an actual curse on the house or Pat herself? Or was it all a coincidence? What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments below.

The Disney Parks are saying goodbye to plastic lids and straws! As of now the plastic straws are still available at the condiment stations but if you are looking for a plastic lid they can only be handed out upon request. Ive heard that paper straws have already made their debut in the parks BUT I can’t completely confirm this because I have not been in the parks for a good minute. Bambi’s 75th Anniversary

August 21, 1942, Bambi, the story of a young deer growing up in the forest was released. It was directed by James Algar, Samuel Armstrong, written by Felix Salten, Perce Pearce with the runtime of 70 minutes.

It was the first and one of the first features where the songs were not sung by any of the films characters. Each song was either sung off screen by a soloist or a choir.

“Man” was ranked the #20 villain on the American Film institutes of the 100 greatest heroes and villains. It’s also the only character not to appear on screen.

Tyrus Wong, a Chinese animator whose sketches used a soft background inspired the look of the film.

bambi-ss1.jpgThere are approximately only 1,000 words throughout the entire film. Some scenes of the woodland creatures and forest fires are unused footage from Pinocchio (1940).

I also love the movie so much that I named my first dog Bambi, he unfortunately passed away BUT I have a lot of great memories when I watch the movie!

Happy Anniversary Bambi!
