DOGtober 2018: Day 9

Saturday October 27, 2018 marks the 28th anniversary of the Pet Parade at Potrero Hill in San Francisco Ca. The Parade started at Farley’s coffee 1315 18th Street at 1pm. There is a costume contest that will immediately follow the parade. There will also be trophies for the winners and pet treats for everyone who takes part of the activities. This is one of our favorite parades because we walk right past my cousins house and my BC (baby cousin) who gets a kick every time the pups and I walk by because she loves my littles just as much as I do. So if you are ever in the San Francisco area during this time I highly suggest you check out this puppy parade! Its a lot of fun to be a part of and a lot of fun to speculate!

I like giving them pups these when they are warm so they can warm up their little bellies especially after a cold day or a cold walk. Plus sweet potatoes are also super beneficial to them like the pumpkin. Plus I like making little faces and pumpkins on them because they look more festive!

DOGtober 2018: Day 7

It has been a tradition since the pups were alive to go to Farer Johns Pumpkin Patch in Half Moon Bay. The reason we go to this specific pumpkin patch, because they are super dog friendly and we are able to meet other fur babies and meet up with our friends and have a blast. We are also able to take amazing pictures of my littles.

DOGtober 2018: Day 5

One of my favorite places to walk with the pups is Little Yosemite Valley, it is about an hour drive for us so this is just a special occasion for us. We go twice in the month of October and it has gorgeous trails, fall feels and the perfect picture spots with those fur babies. It is also a very peaceful and calming walk even though nothing is green we still have the best time.

DOGtober 2018: Day 3

Saturday Oct. 6 at Duboce Park in San Francisco was one of my all time favorite events during Fleet Week! Yes there are puppy things during fleet week which is actually very informative as well as it is fun!

They have safety tips, a place where you can set up a plan Incase of an emergency and of course after all that knowledge you can meet and see the working K9 heroes and what they do! Honestly it’s a very cool experience and filled with lots of puppy knowledge and love. So i highly recommend checking it out if you ever get the opportunity!

DOGtober 2018: Day 2

A lot of people don’t know the benefits of pumpkin for their pups, so if you are wondering why I love giving pumpkin to my littles here’s why!

Digestion– It has a great source of fiber

Skin/Coat- The pumpkin seeds contains antioxidants and fatty acids to moisturize the skin and coat.

Parasites- The pumpkin seeds cucurbits which are an amino acid that acts as a natural dewormer.

UTI- Oils of the flesh and seeds can help prevent bladder infections and kidney stones.

So if you didn’t feed your pups pumpkin, will you do so now?
