Disneyland Paris Phantom Manor finally has a re-open date! As long as it has been closed since forever and rumors that it would be closed indefinitely started to float around. Thankfully, those rumors stayed rumors and Phantom Manor will re-open in April.

Disney After Dark 2018!

It’s that time again for another amazing and magical Disney After Dark! Disney announced two separate events Sweetheart’s Nite in February and 90’s Nite in March. Although both sound amazing my heart was set on 90’s Nite. In the morning I bought my mom and I tickets for 90’s Nite where we are of course dressing for the occasion.

Sweetheart’s Nite is where Disneyland will be a romantic get away for couples, along with a royal ball experience with encounters from Disney couples and romantic decor, food, beverages and merch!

The 90’s nite will be filled with special 90’s themed fireworks, throwback musical entertainment. There will also be a re-imagined Disney Afternoon Avenue with special Disney characters from the 90’s, decade inspired food, beverages and of course merch! Plus if you attend this event you will receive a commemorative fanny pack, I mean how AWESOME is that?!

Festival of Holiday 2018!

Aside from all the decorations and the holiday parades I love to hop on over to Disney California Adventure and get my foodie life on at the Festival of Holiday! The first item that I purchased was a sip and savor pass which cost $49 for AP holders then I looked over the menu and started my foodie journey.

  • Braised pork belly adobo with garlic fried rice
  • Beef pot roast on a potato bun with horseradish creme
  • Holiday ham Shank with brown sugar pineapple glaze
  • Holiday Punch with lime sorbet and sprite
  • Chorizo queso fundido with house made tortillas
  • Holiday Mickey and Minnie cookies
  • Nashville Hot Fried Turkey with Dill Pickle
  • Pazole rojo beef with hominy polenta

They were all really good except I learned I don’t like horseradish other than that I do have my top three favorites, which are:

Holiday ham shank with brown sugar and pineapple glaze, Chorizo queso fundido with house made tortillas, and the Nashville hot fried turkey with dill pickle. Honestly, If I had anymore time I would have waited in all those lines just to get those three dishes. They were just amazing and 100% regret not getting them again.

Black Friday at Disneyland!

After Thanksgiving dinner my mom and I decided to take a drive…a drive that would lead us to the Happiest Place On Earth! And we ate so much food! Of course I bought the sip and savor pass and with only three food items I was already 20 dollars in! Unfortunately our tummy’s could not handle anymore food so we still have three tabs left over and I can’t wait to eat more food tomorrow!

7 Days of Thanks 2018: Day 7

Thanksgiving Day 2018!

There is so much I am thankful for, for starters my family, and of course my pups. I’m thankful for their health because ya we have our ups and downs but for the most part we are healthy. I’m thankful I have a house to come home too, I’m thankful I can talk to my grandma at all hours of the day or night. I’m thankful for my friends, that I see everyday or not as often as I should, I’m thankful for my job, and the stability it gives me to go on crazy adventures and also allows me to pay the bills on time.

7 Days of Thanks 2018: Day 6

The Night Before!

The night before for me is one of the crucial days of preparing for Thanksgiving. This is the night where I bake and cook A LOT of the dishes so by Thanksgiving I just need to add the finishing touches and cook the ham and the turkey, for the most part.

What I cooked:

Jalapeño Mac and cheese (needs bacon, jalapeño crisps and cheese sauce)

Brussel Sprouts with bacon and cheese (needs cheese)

Honey Baked Ham Fried Rice (needs ham)

Green bean casserole (needs cream of chicken and onion crisps)

Pumpkin pie (needs whipped cream)

Cheesecake (needs whipped cream and caramel)

Puppy pumpkin pie (needs to be cut and served)

What still needs to be cooked:

Mashed potatoes

Green beans

Puppy Pawsgiving Dinner

Puppy pancakes and eggs

So I still have a good amount to cook BUT I did get to cross some things off of my list. Am I the only one that does this? What do you do to prepare for Thanksgiving Day?
