7 Days of Thanks 2018: Day 2

Family Traditions.

Every Thanksgiving for the family we gather around the dinner table and say a prayer every year a different person from the family would say the prayer and we would go around the table saying one thing we were grateful for. This one started with my grandma and grandpa with their kids my aunts and uncles. Honestly, this one is special because it involves all the generations in our family under the same roof saying what we are thankful for.

Another tradition with my immediate family is getting up at 8am making breakfast and bring it to the front room in our jammies with our blankets and the puppies and we sit and watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade while we eat. This is my favorite because we don’t have to dress up and I am cuddled up with my littles watching all the floats. What are some of your family traditions?
