Whats Happening Wednesday #2!

Again, there are so many topics to talk about that it only felt right to do another Whats Happening Wednesday so lets get started with the original Park!

  • The pineapple ‘dole whip’ donut has made its return to the Disneyland Park! You can find the delicious treat at the donut and coffee adjacent to Sleeping Beauty’s Castle for $6.00.
  • Disney has released an iridescent cupcake to march with the new iridescent Minnie Mouse ears.
  • The Pineapple Churro was AMAZING! It was $5.75 I think and it comes with a marshmallow dipping sauce and literally you should check it out if you like the dole whip and Disney churro this is the treat for you!

Walt Disney World:

  • November 8 the magical season will return with festive parties, holiday decor, delicious treats, breathtaking entertainment and of course the return of A Flurry of Fun is returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Joining the Holiday fun with Christmas decor is the brand new Toy Story Land.
  • At the Scat Cat’s Lounge at Port Orleans French Quarter you can find new alcoholic Beignets. The Baton Rouge Beignets are $8 and you can choose from Kahlua, Bailey’s and Rumchata.
  • Expedition Everest will finally going under refurbishment to fix the Yetti! The Yetti has been broken down for 10 years and it’s called “The Everest Project”. There is no timeline yet, but this is progress!
  • There is also a new cupcake, that looks like everyones favorite experiment 626. Yes, at the All Star Sports Resort you can find the lovable blue alien, Stitch in cupcake form for $5.99.

Disney Movie Updates:

  • Ant-Man and The Wasp takes the #1 spot at the box office, followed by Incredibles 2 at #2. While Solo has fallen to the #14 spot and Avengers: Infinity War varies from the #12-#15 spots.
  • LIFE SIZE 2 is happening! We talked about this a while ago, BUT it is actually happening and will be released on Freeform this December during 25 days of Christmas. The sequel will follow Grace Manning the CEO of the company that made the original Eve doll. Tayra Banks will return as Eve, Grace Manning will be played by Francia Raisa. Tayra has mentioned that Lindsey Lohan will return for the sequel as well. So this should be interesting and I am hoping that Disney will release Life Size on iTunes.
  • Billy Dee Williams will make his return as Lando Calrissian in Star Wars Episode IX. He made his debut in the 1980’s Empire Strikes Back and returned in 1983 for Return of the Jedi. Episode IX will be directer by J.J. Abrams and is set to open December 20, 2019. I can not tell you how excited I am to have Billy Dee Williams back as Lando, I think he is just PERFECTION!
  • Jungle Cruise starring Dwayne ‘The Rock” Johnson and Emily Blunt is set to hit theaters October 11, 2019/ Jungle Cruise is based off of the beloved Disney Parks attraction.
  • Maleficent 2 is set to open May 29, 2020. Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning will reprise their roles as Maleficent and Princess Aurora, and Michelle Pfieffer will join them in playing Queen Ingrith.
  • Kim Possible Live Action Movie is coming out in 2019! It is starring Sadie Stanley (Kim Possible), Sean Giambrone (Ron Stoppable), Isaac Ryan Brown ( Wade Load), Alyson Hannigan (Dr. Ann Possible), Connie Ray (Nana Possible), TOdd Stashwik (Dr. Drakken), Taylor Ortega (Shego), Erika Tham (Bonnie), Ciara Wilson (Athena). I really hope we get to see, Christy Carlson Romano, and Will Friedle in the movie as like a little cameo, I mean I think its possible because they passed the torch in the short Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable Revealed so I feel like its a possibility.

What are you most excited about? Let me know in the comments below!

Would you buy a ticket for Disney After Hours? I know I would, yes it is a lot of money but you get the park pretty much to yourself! How cool is that? There are barely any lines and I don’t think I would buy a ticket for the day and just hang out at my hotel until the event starts because the line would be so short!

World of Color Update!

World of Color at Disney California Adventure will not be returning for the opening of Pixar Pier June 23, 2018. It was only suppose to be down from April 13 – May 24 for the construction of Pixar Pier and Incredicoaster. Although, Disney is claiming its under refurbishment until late 2018, there have been rumors going around the park about WOC’s table that holds the elements to the show was damaged during construction. I think it’ll return to the park in time for the holiday season.

Bing Bongs Sweet Stuff!

Bing Bong Sweet Stuff will open later this summer on Disney California Adventure’s Pixar Pier. It will have colorful merchandise and of course a confectionery location. There will be salt water taffy, rainbow cotton candy and of course of other magical sweet treats to try! The “Buddy” cake pops will be offered at Bing Bongs Sweet stuff, the characters will change every so often and feature new characters like WALL-E and Eve, Nemo and Dory, Buzz and Woody and some inspired by “Inside Out”. which will feature the one and only emotions.

We will also get a fun selection of candy apples! Like the Rainbow Unicorn or the Bing Bong Apple. If you are unfamiliar with the magic of a Disney apple here is the rundown, its a granny smith apple dipped in caramel and chocolate carefully decorated with sugar, fondant and marshmallows crafted perfectly for guests with a major sweet tooth! You can also find other Pixar themed popcorn, lollipops and candies which will lemon drops, red licorice and sour apple balls. The salt water taffy can be found in an assortment of flavors like strawberry banana, peaches and cream, rainbow cotton candy, blue raspberry and orange.

After ALL those sweets what better way to wash down all those magical sweet treats then with a memory refresher! A frozen drink in all colors and flavors like: Rainbow Unicorn that has grape soda, blue raspberry soda, lime cherry, limon-lime, and rainbow candies. Of course to honor of our favorite imaginary friend Bing Bong he gets a special sugary drink will consist of pink lemonade with grape soda, topped with rainbow cotton candy and a flower marshmallow flower! It’s perfection and I can’t wait to try it out. What treats are you most looking forward to trying at Bing Bongs Sweet Stuff?

This is only one of several buildings closing in order to make room for the new 700 room hotel in Downtown Disney. ESPN Zone closed June 2, AMC Theatre 12 is scheduled to be demolished in July and Earl of Sandwich will close Tuesday, June 26, 2018. The new hotel is expected to open in 2021. If you have a favorite place that is closing GET OVER TO DTD to say your final goodbyes and eat that food before it closes for good! I know, I will miss Earl of Sandwiches and ESPN Zone I have my favorites there so I will have to be a fatty and eat there non stop!

Mickeys Halloween Party 2018!

Holiday’s in the Parks, is my absolute favorite! I find it super magical and breathtaking and since I haven’t been to Mickey’s Halloween Party in years and there have been so many changes to the party, I had to buy tickets even if it means ditching school for one day. I mean is there really a comparison? Disneyland, Halloween fireworks, decorations, shows, costumes, food, Haunted Mansion Holiday, Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy, and trick or treating vs. school…no comparison what so ever!

October 19 is when I will be attending the party and I have my costume all ready and picked out. The hard part is I want to keep it a secret until 10/19 but we will see how well that goes because I am super stoked about it so I might blow it fingers crossed I don’t! Also, if you are planning on attending the party while I am there please come and say Hi! I will have some mini Oogie Boogie bows and hopefully, some Sanderson Sister inspired bows that I will be handing out. So will you attend Mickey’s Halloween Party?

We Wants The Red Head!!

It was announced that the redheaded pirate Redd will be arriving at Disneyland, she will be sailing her way into New Orleans Friday, June 8, 2018. I would LOVE to meet her and of course take a picture with this fierce and independent pirate, even though I am sad that Disney has changed the auction scene I think they made up by having this meet and greet! Will you be taking a picture with Redd?

I am hoping I am able to go to go because EVERYTHING at the incredible summer sounds DELICIOUS!!! I think what I am most looking forward to trying is Frozone’s Blue raspberry sno-cone.

Edna mode

This summer will definitely be an incredible summer, especially since the one and only Edna Mode will be traveling to both Walt Disney World and the Disneyland Resort. Edna Mode prides herself on crafting super suits which are both fictional and fabulous and of course NO CAPES!

This visionary will appear at the Magic Kingdom starting memorial weekend. June 15 Edna will make her way over to Disney California Adventure Park to celebrate the opening of Pixar Pier.
