Disney Movie Updates:

  • Ant-Man and The Wasp takes the #1 spot at the box office, followed by Incredibles 2 at #2. While Solo has fallen to the #14 spot and Avengers: Infinity War varies from the #12-#15 spots.
  • LIFE SIZE 2 is happening! We talked about this a while ago, BUT it is actually happening and will be released on Freeform this December during 25 days of Christmas. The sequel will follow Grace Manning the CEO of the company that made the original Eve doll. Tayra Banks will return as Eve, Grace Manning will be played by Francia Raisa. Tayra has mentioned that Lindsey Lohan will return for the sequel as well. So this should be interesting and I am hoping that Disney will release Life Size on iTunes.
  • Billy Dee Williams will make his return as Lando Calrissian in Star Wars Episode IX. He made his debut in the 1980’s Empire Strikes Back and returned in 1983 for Return of the Jedi. Episode IX will be directer by J.J. Abrams and is set to open December 20, 2019. I can not tell you how excited I am to have Billy Dee Williams back as Lando, I think he is just PERFECTION!
  • Jungle Cruise starring Dwayne ‘The Rock” Johnson and Emily Blunt is set to hit theaters October 11, 2019/ Jungle Cruise is based off of the beloved Disney Parks attraction.
  • Maleficent 2 is set to open May 29, 2020. Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning will reprise their roles as Maleficent and Princess Aurora, and Michelle Pfieffer will join them in playing Queen Ingrith.
  • Kim Possible Live Action Movie is coming out in 2019! It is starring Sadie Stanley (Kim Possible), Sean Giambrone (Ron Stoppable), Isaac Ryan Brown ( Wade Load), Alyson Hannigan (Dr. Ann Possible), Connie Ray (Nana Possible), TOdd Stashwik (Dr. Drakken), Taylor Ortega (Shego), Erika Tham (Bonnie), Ciara Wilson (Athena). I really hope we get to see, Christy Carlson Romano, and Will Friedle in the movie as like a little cameo, I mean I think its possible because they passed the torch in the short Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable Revealed so I feel like its a possibility.

What are you most excited about? Let me know in the comments below!

Lamplight Lounge Review!

Since Disneyland was having a heatwave the park was pretty empty which lucky for me and my crazy self I was able to walk into the Lamplight Lounge and get a table within five minutes. It was only my mom and I and we decided we wanted only wanted the appetizers so we sat upstairs where Cove Bar once was.

The menu was so cute and I loved the fact that it was like a sketch book. My mom and I decided to go with The Crispy Piggy Wings ($17.00) and the Carne Asada Nachos ($20.00) and split it between the both of us. For a drink we both got waters and I decided to live on the wild side and get an Infinity Fizz drink ($6.50) which looked AMAZING when it came out.

The first thing we tried was the Crispy Piggy Wings and let me tell you those were DELICIOUS! I have never tasted anything so flavorful and so tender in my life. They literally fell right off of the bone with one touch. I love spicy food and this definitely had a good kick that built up the more you ate it. My mom had 3 of them and then she tapped out and I ate 4 of them and then ordered another one…it was that good. The nachos were exactly like the Lobster Nachos ($ at the Cover Bar but without lobster and with carne asada. The Infinity Fizz to me tasted like sparkling apple cider but it was powerade mountain berry blast, apple juice and cherry pearls.

Overall I LOVED it! The food was amazing and I would 100% go there every visit! The entire place looked amazing, the environment was magical! Would you eat at Lamplight Lounge?

Skyline Lounge Review!

Saturday 7/7/18 was one of the best nights EVER! I was able to go to the Tomorrowland Skyline Lounge with my mom, two older cousins and their practically perfect little one also known as my baby cousin (BC), so here is my review about the Skyline Lounge.

We all checked in about 8:10pm because my BC was at the Pixar Dance Party, so we walked over to the cast member (Josh) at the bottom of the lounge where we received a wristband and lanyard this is also where we payed. Once everything was settled, we were told the rules of the lounge. Once, the rules were explained we headed up the ramp where we were handed our plate of goodies and waited to be seated.

Once we took our seats, we were seated with another family who were very sweet. We had a really nice time with them and it really made the experience twenty times nicer. While we waited for the fireworks to start we played jenga, connect 4, and lightsabers  with my BC. Then Minnie Mouse came out to play and say hey. My BC also got a once in a lifetime experience and that was to play connect 4 with Minnie, BUT what made my heart completely and utterly melt was when the fireworks started at 9:30 we had my BC stand on the chair so she could see over the railings and about 5 minutes into the fireworks my BC put her arms around mine and my moms shoulder and that is how we watched the show, with her arms around us and we got a kiss every now and then.

Overall the experience was amazing and the cast members were there if we needed anything. Being up there was very relaxing and the view was INCREDIBLE even before the fireworks watching the sun go down was beautiful. Would I do this again? I think so, the smile that my cousin had priceless and the entire experience was completely magical and I really enjoyed everything about the Tomorrowland Skyline Lounge.

Skyline Lounge!

My upcoming trip was already very exciting, I get to check out Pixar Fest taste all the new treats BUT it just got more magical! Today, I decided to splurge a bit and reserve seats at the Skyline Lounge for my mom and me to watch the fireworks.

It’s $60 per person but you can drink all you want (non-alcoholic) and you get a plate of desserts. Plus, there are charging stations, games along with an amazing view of the park and fireworks. Would you ever make reservations at the skylight lounge?

After 30 years, the Walt Disney Company is shutting the Disneytoon¬†Animation Studios. Disneytoons was formally known as Disney Movie Toons founded in Glendale Ca, April 1, 1990, but got renamed June 2003. They worked on many Disney sequels but their first feature film was Ducktales the Movie: Treasures of the Lost Lamp August 3, 1990. The production of the company’s untitled planes spin-off film had been removed from Disney’s film release schedule, following an announcement that the studio will immediately shut down which it did June 28, 2018. You will be missed Disneytoon Animation Studio, it was a good 30 years!

Disneyland will be having their inaugural Fried Chicken Celebration July 6-8, 2018 in celebration of National Fried Chicken Day July 6. If you want to celebrate National Fried Chicken Day at the Parks you can pick up your Fried Chicken at the Plaza Inn at Disneyland Park or Flo’s V8 Cafe or the all new Poultry Palace at Disney California Adventure Park.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2018!

There are some new and spooky experiences coming to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Walt Disney World Resort on select nights starting from August 17- October 31, 2018. So here are some changes you can expect:

The Mad Tea Party- It will display new lighting and effects and depending on the color of your costume you can transform under the new dancing lights!

Pirates of the Caribbean- If you choose to go sailing with Pirates during this spooky season you have to keep a lookout for a new pirate invader named Gunpowder Pete.

Space Mountain will get a new soundtrack and special effects which will transformation the ride to make a new experience. I wonder if it’ll be like Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy over at Disneyland.

Storybook Circus will transform into Storybook Circus Junior Jam. It’ll be a dance party featuring some Disney Junior Characters.

Of course you have to make sure to look out for dancing ghosts and a headless horseman. Also be careful of the Sanderson Sisters, I have a feeling someone will light the black flame candle and bring them back to put a spell on guests!

World of Color Update!

World of Color at Disney California Adventure will not be returning for the opening of Pixar Pier June 23, 2018. It was only suppose to be down from April 13 – May 24 for the construction of Pixar Pier and Incredicoaster. Although, Disney is claiming its under refurbishment until late 2018, there have been rumors going around the park about WOC’s table that holds the elements to the show was damaged during construction. I think it’ll return to the park in time for the holiday season.
