Halloween In The Parks!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Halloween in the parks! My all time favorite season in the parks, so if you are a fan of Halloween here is what you can look forward to in Disneyland/DCA, WDW, Hong Kong, and Paris!

Both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will be decked out for Halloween. The Oogie Boogie popcorn bucket will make its return with a bit of an updated look. I was lucky enough to get the bucket last year so I don’t think I will be getting one this year UNLESS my BC wants one then I will of course try and get her one.

The poison apple stein will also make its return to the park, but with an update as well instead of it being red its going to be green. I unfortunately have been trying to get the original poison apple stein for years now and have not succeed so I will attempt to get the green one hopefully I have better luck with this one.

Another thing coming to the parks is the brand new  premium popcorn bucket. So get ready to brew some potions because this cauldron premium popcorn bucket is not only the cutest BUT it lights up! This one I have to have, this is LIFE for me. So wish me luck!

Hong Kong Disneyland:

Now if you are planning on visiting Hong Kong Disneyland from September 13th to October 31st, 2018 you are in for a spooktacular treat. Jack Skelington and his friends will be turning the park upside down allowing guests to visit their hometown of Halloween Town where you can also visit Dr. Finklestein’s lab where he kept Sally captive. Make sure to keep an eye open for Oogie Boogie, because he might just sneak up behind you!

Disneyland Paris:

Starting October 1st, 2018 guests visiting Disneyland Paris can enjoy not only halloween BUT help Mickey celebrate his 90th birthday. October 1- November 4, 2018 you can celebrate the Halloween season with it’s brand new parade float featuring Mickey who will disappear and re-appear wearing three different costumes. For Mickey’s 90th birthday you can catch the celebration from October 1 all the way through the Christmas season.

There are so many things I want to see especially at Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland but this year I will only be attending the OG Disneyland which I am thankful for. What park would you like to visit during the Halloween season?

Blogmas Day 19/25: AP Lines

Merry Christmas to WDW Annual Pass Holders!

Starting December 21, 2016 WDW will begin a new pilot program which will provide an AP holder only entrance line.

AP lined will be available at all four theme parks, as of right now its only for the entry itself with. APers will still go through security with non AP guests but things could definitely change as the pilot program evolves.

Personally i think it is a great idea and i am so stoked that WDW will be getting an AP entrance line, and because i am hopeful i am hoping that maybe just maybe Disneyland will follow this trend and Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will get there very own AP entrance lines.

How do you feel about the AP entrance lines in WDW? Do you think Disneyland will get them too? Let me know in the comments below.

This Week In Disney!

This week in Disney is CRAZY!!! There is so much going on. Mickeys Birthday, opening of PizzaRizzo’s, Tree Trail, runDisney Paris, Moana name change and so much more! So let dig into the Magic!!

To start us off this week is the big cheese Mickey Mouse, Happy 88th Birthday Mickey! Of course he’s been traveling non stop in his birthday month BUT the fun doest stop there, the parks will be singing happy birthday to our pal Mickey, so will you be in a park to celebrate?

Today is the OFFICIAL opening of PizzaRizzo in Walt Disney’s Hollywood Studios, so be sure to check out his restaurant and of course be sure to check it out! Along with their regular menu you they will have an Allergy Friendly such as gluten free, vegan free and dairy free options. Oh and remember “clean it up! Your ma don’t work here!”

Tree Trail opened Nov. 11, and will stay open until Jan. 8 2017. The trees are amazing and if you are thinking about going to check them out i highly encourage you to go and check it out plus you can tell the big guy what you would like this Christmas! My favorite tree was definitely the villains tree.

Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Made its debut Nov 14 in Hollywood Studios in Florida. Its the new show that replace the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. The show stars many favorites including like Wayne and Lanny From “Prep & Landing” which projects animation onto the Chinese Theater. I personally thought the show was so cute and Disney of course did a great job with it but no matter what Osborne Family Lights will always have a place in my heart!

Under The Stars: Moana This is taking place in the Polynesian Resort Sunday Nov. 20th, I’m kind of bummed that i won’t be able to go because i think the Polynesian Resort is a perfect spot to watch this fierce princess. Are you going??

The Wonderful World Of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration hosted by the lovely siblings Derek and Julianne Hough have recently taped the thanksgiving parade and it will soon hit on ABC Nov. 24 from 8-10pm ET.

Disney Springs Smtarbright Holidays-An Intel Collaboration will be making its debut Sunday Nov. 20 at 7:00 pm and another showing at 8:30 pm. Guests will watch as 300 show drones light up the night sky while guests listen to classic holiday music which was recorded by a full orchestra. Personally i think its going to be a pretty cool show!

Over in DCA Princess Elena of Avalor has arrived along with all the festivities such as the festive foods in the marketplace kiosks, Festival Entertainment, Disney Viva Navidad, Princess Elena’s Grand Arrival and of course Santa’s Holiday Visit.

Moana name change? Its been rumored that when Disney releases Moana in Italy they will be changing the films name to Oceania.

As for runDisney Paris there are only three more days to sign up to run in Disneyland Paris so be sure to get those computers and credit cards ready because the Disneyland Paris Half Marathon weekend is a lot of fun.

There was a ton of Disney happening this week? What is your favorite??? Let me know in the comments below!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

In addition to the unlimited deliciousness of hot chocolate and snickerdoodles Disney has announced there will be more festive and magical treats to enjoy!

I can’t wait to go to get some spice apple cider and snowman sugar cookies those are my FAVORITES!!! My dad on the other hand will definitely be in Liberty Square all night drinking up all the eggnog! If you haven’t been to this magical Christmas party than be sure to give it a try, you won’t regret it! What delicious treat are you ready to try this very merry christmas party???

Once Upon A Time

Inspired by Tokyo Disneyland’s Once Upon A Time, an all new Nighttime projection show is about to debut at the Magic Kingdom.

Starting November 4, 2016 we can expect to go on an adventure as our favorite Disney characters come to life on Cinderella Castle. From a flight from London to Neverland with the main Lost boy himself to a dueling battle between Beast and Gaston, Mrs. Potts  bedtime stories to Chip take us on a magical journey through many Disney classics.

Im so excited because I really enjoyed the nighttime projection show over in Disneyland Paris with Peter’s shadow so I can’t wait to see what exciting adventures Mrs. Potts will take us on.

What are your thoughts?  Let me know in the comments below.

Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!

Look out Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World, it looks like starting November 14, 2016 an all new Holiday Nighttime Spectacular is coming your way!

You can catch Disney’s newest show on, above and all around the Chinese Theater with the state of the art projections, special effects fireworks and of course the ever enchanting seasonal music.

The show will be led by one of my all time favorite elves Wayne and Lanny from the animated special “Prep and Landing”, the show will include special holiday moments from  “Mickey’s Christmas Carol”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Pluto’s Christmas Tree”, “Bambi”, “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” and many more magical moments building up to the finale of the show “So tinsel!”

Its not a Disney show without the little extra Disney magic of making it snow and of course some reserved seating with magical desserts, beverages and much more. If you do choose the Holiday Dessert Party you will also receive special 3D glasses which creates a holographic illusions of gingerbread men, candy canes, snowflakes and ornaments.

The show will run until December 31 so be sure to get out there and enjoy the magic! I am really excited to see the magic come to life right before my eyes, and yes it was sad that Hollywood studios lost the Osborne Family Lights BUT I am definitely going to be welcoming this new nighttime spectacular with open arms! What are your feelings with this show?? Let me know in the comments below!

On This Day: Animal Kingdom

Happy Birthday Animal Kingdom!!

Earth Day! April 22, 1998 Anima Kingdom was born! In celebration of the parks opening here are some fun facts!

1. Tree Of Life

At 145Ft tall, 160Ft wide and topped with more than 102,583 transparent leaves in five different shades of green, there are more than 300 carvings on the Tree Of Life. More than 10 artists and three imagineers working full-time for 18 months.

2. Zebra Free

In 2012 Zebras were introduced to the Kilimanjaro Safari ride, but four months later were removed. It was rumored that the Zebras were to aggressive to keep around the safari, BUT there was never an official statement from Disney.

3. Most Endangered Species

Since the park opening in 1998, there have been 8 endangered white rhinos born at AK.

4. Birds

Some of the park birds are given fake eggs to sit on which makes older birds thinks they don’t need to repopulate while it shows the younger birds where they should lay there eggs.

5. Expedition Everest

Expedition Everest is the most expensive roller coster ever made with the cost of more than $100,000,000. At 199.5 ft tall it is just shy of having a red light beacon on top.

6. Kilimanjaro Safari

The Savannah is more than 110 acres making the ride bigger than the whole Magic Kingdom Park.

7. Animals Come First

There are NO plastic straws, cup lids or  balloons at this park for the animals safety.

8. Pre-Frozen

Before the Frozen hits Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez wrote the songs for Finding Nemo: The Musical which can be found at Animal Kingdom.

9. The Festival of The Lion King

This amazing triple threat show first opened at Camp Mickey April 22, 1998 but closed down January 5, 2014 to relocate in Africa June 1, 2014.

10. Staff

There are more than 4,500 Cast Members that work at AK, manning attractions, looking after the animals, working int he restaurants and of course working behind the scenes.

Feeding over 1,000+ animals that live at the park requires about 4tons of food per day.

12. The Discovery River

Contains more than 27 million gallons of water which would be equivalent to about 1,800 swimming pools.

13. Landscaping

to create the surrounding to Mt. Everest there are more than 900 bamboo plants,110 species of shrubs and 10 species of tress that were planted.

14.The Forbidden Mountain

5,000 tons of structural steel 2,000 gallons of stain and paint, 3,000 pre-fabricated steel “chips” and 10,000 tons of concrete was needed to create the mountain.

I hope you enjoyed the fun facts! My favorite part about animal kingdom would have to be The Festival of the Lion King, is such an AMAZING and breathe taking show that i hope they never get rid of!
