Disneyland Paris Limited Time Celebrations 2019!

If you are planning your trip to Disneyland Paris I would suggest going during the fun! Legends of the Force- A Celebration of Star Wars, this is where guests can watch the marching procession of the first order in Walt Disney Hollywood Studios. Over at Disneyland Park Star Tours: The Adventures Continues and Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain will be there for your enjoyment. You can also attend the Festival of Pirates and Princesses. The last day to catch all this action packed celebration is on March 17, 2019.

Halloween In The Parks!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Halloween in the parks! My all time favorite season in the parks, so if you are a fan of Halloween here is what you can look forward to in Disneyland/DCA, WDW, Hong Kong, and Paris!

Both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will be decked out for Halloween. The Oogie Boogie popcorn bucket will make its return with a bit of an updated look. I was lucky enough to get the bucket last year so I don’t think I will be getting one this year UNLESS my BC wants one then I will of course try and get her one.

The poison apple stein will also make its return to the park, but with an update as well instead of it being red its going to be green. I unfortunately have been trying to get the original poison apple stein for years now and have not succeed so I will attempt to get the green one hopefully I have better luck with this one.

Another thing coming to the parks is the brand new  premium popcorn bucket. So get ready to brew some potions because this cauldron premium popcorn bucket is not only the cutest BUT it lights up! This one I have to have, this is LIFE for me. So wish me luck!

Hong Kong Disneyland:

Now if you are planning on visiting Hong Kong Disneyland from September 13th to October 31st, 2018 you are in for a spooktacular treat. Jack Skelington and his friends will be turning the park upside down allowing guests to visit their hometown of Halloween Town where you can also visit Dr. Finklestein’s lab where he kept Sally captive. Make sure to keep an eye open for Oogie Boogie, because he might just sneak up behind you!

Disneyland Paris:

Starting October 1st, 2018 guests visiting Disneyland Paris can enjoy not only halloween BUT help Mickey celebrate his 90th birthday. October 1- November 4, 2018 you can celebrate the Halloween season with it’s brand new parade float featuring Mickey who will disappear and re-appear wearing three different costumes. For Mickey’s 90th birthday you can catch the celebration from October 1 all the way through the Christmas season.

There are so many things I want to see especially at Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland but this year I will only be attending the OG Disneyland which I am thankful for. What park would you like to visit during the Halloween season?

runDisney: Villain Event

runDisney announced that Paris will be honoring the Disney Villains with their newest run happening September 20-23, 2018. The 21 The shadow of Thanos will take over the 5k highlighting the Marvel Universe. The 22 the evil sidekicks will come out and play on the 10k course while for the little runDisney participants (Kids Races) will be taken over by everyone’s favorite mischevious alien Stitch and some of his friends. Last but certainly not least on the 23 for the Disneyland Paris Half Marathon event will be taken over by the greatest Disney villains.

I honestly wish I had the money to participate in this event because my mom and I are obsessed with Disney Villains and of course have been waiting to get our hands on some runDisney villain medals to add to our collection. Will you be ready to face these Disney Villains? Let me know in the comments below if you will be joining this villain event.

Disney Did You Know?!?!

Did you know,

Space Mountain in Disneyland Paris is  the fastest out of the five in operation. In order to  propel the Space Mountain cars to go 45 mph in two seconds the ride uses technology like the ones in aircraft carriers to propel the jet fighters. Not only is this the fastest out of the five in operation but it is also the only one that goes upside-down.

Disney Did You Know?!?!: Disneyland

Did you know,

Euro Disney now known as Disneyland Paris is only the second resort to open outside the US. Tokyo Disneyland was the first opening April 15th 1983 while Disneyland Paris opened April 12, 1992.

Have you been to either of these Disney Resorts? Let me know int he comments below.

Let’s Talk: runDisney Paris

I am so excited Paris is one month away!

For me packing my running gear is already pretty stressful because I have to make sure I pack everything I’m going to need for the run, before, after and during. I like to break it up into lists Before Race, During Race, After Race.

Before Race:

pants, shoes, socks, undies, sports bra, hat, hair tie, arm band, iPod, watch, KT Tape, and headphones.

During Race:

After Race:

roller balls, medicine, sandals

Normally bringing all this is no problem when its a race in Disneyland and WDW i down worry too much because I’m usually the only one running and i can store things in my mom bag, BUT Paris is a whole other story!

This will be the farthest i have gone, I’m trying to make sure that EVERYTHING i need fits into my bag along with my non running clothes. So this trip since i will be participating in the 5k and 1/2 marathon i am planning on bringing two running shoes and pants for the run and everything else i normally bring, but only one roller ball, medicine and no candles. I do plan on brining other shoes and outfits, but as for running shirts I plan on wearing the ones we get from the expo.

Now since it will be my first time in Paris i have to make sure that i make room for all the running goodies and Disneyland Paris goodies that i am planning on bringing home with me. I guess my question to all my runners out there, what are some necessities do you have to have when you are attending a runDisney event? Let me know in the comments below!

runDisney Shorts: Complete

May 23, 2016

Day 8 & 9,

Yesterday my mom and i took off so we didn’t run, we had two more miles to go BUT we just went to bed. (It only said we ran 8.38 miles BUT i didn’t bring my phone the first mile so we ran 9.38 miles.)Today we knew we had to get a run in, but we decided that we would get the two miles at once to complete the series.

It felt really nice to run 2 miles at once especially when it wasn’t on a treadmill. This whole run was a lot of fun to do, we were inspired a bunch of people and inspired others to try out runDisney especially because you can do it at your own pace.

My nana was able to do her first 5k which she is now on a healthier path and is continuing to walk everyday no less than a quarter of a mile. She is also very motivated to not use her walker, and says she would like to cross the finish line with all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. disney paris 1

As for my mom and i, we are getting back on track with out running and were ready to continue to run and train for the inaugural Disneyland Paris Half Marathon. runDisney is a great way to start your running journey, whether its at a Disney park or a virtual run the community is still there and people are so motivating and inspiring. Plus every mile is magic on and off Disney property.

I am very glad that i was able to do the shorts series and hope runDisney continues to do them. Adventure is out there.

DLP: Top 5 Restaurants

There are a lot of restaurants in DLP that are not in Disneyland or WDW that i would like to try, so here are my Top 5 Restaurants i would like to eat at in 2016 in no particular order!

1. Auberge De Cendrillon

-A three course Cinderella themed restaurant. The dessert is something i really look forward to eating because its Cinderella’s slipper in chocolate form!

2. Bistrot Chez Remy

-I LOVE the movie Ratatouille, so this is definitely a place where i would like to eat because they make it seem like we shrunk down to the size of rats, Which i think is pretty awesome. Although everything might seem a bit cheesy it looks like a pretty awesome place to eat!

3. Pizzaria Bella Notte

-Pizza is definitely one of my favorite foods to eat, plus it features a Lady and The Tramp motif. I mean this has pretty much my life summed up in one restaurant Disney, Dogs and food i think i will be checking out this place!

Disneyland Paris, Marne la VallŽe, France October 29th, 2009 Visit our site Disney Character Central for tons more Disney and Character pictures!

4. Silver Spur Steakhouse

-I LOVE steak and when i saw there was a steakhouse i immediately new it was going to be on my top 5 places to eat, it also has an old fashion decor to it from what i heard and i love the old fashion  feel!

5. Walts- An American Restaurant

-Walts is an every guest invited version of Club 33, so I’ve heard, and like every other Disney fan in hopes of eating in Club 33 i think this is the closest i will get to that dream so i must eat here because this is the closest i will ever get! Plus i heard if you book a window seat around the parade times you get dinner and a show!

I know i won’t be eating at all of these restaurants but i hope to at least eat at one of them while i am over there. They all look super yummy and very well themed, but its gonna be a tough choice to just pick one.
