13 Days of Love 2019: Day 13

Affirmations:

Before leaving the house in the morning or before going to bed you can either write down a couple of affirmations or look at yourself in the mirror and say them to yourself.

Ex: I believe in me

I am successful

I am enough

I am successful

One thing I like to do is go into the bathroom and write down on the mirror some affirmations. This is a great reminder as I leave the house and before I go to bed.

14 Days of Love 2019: Day 12

Try Something New

Try something new, you never know what you like until you try it. You can try new foods, go to a new place, just be adventurous, there is a whole world that needs to be explored.

14 Days of Love 2019: Day 11

Dinner Date

Have a dinner date with yourself. You can treat yourself to a fancy dinner or make one yourself. Personally, I like to dress up and go out to eat at a restaurant. I always feel so empowering and on top of the world walking in by myself.

14 Days of Love 2019: Day 10

Something Warm

In San Francisco it tends to be cold, foggy and gloomy. So one thing I love to do is make a nice cup of hot tea, grab a blanket and the pups and sit out on the porch looking over the city. This is so simple and relaxing to me but also reminds me that even though the world may be crazy and chaotic that mine doesn’t have to be.

14 Days of Love 2019: Day 9

Bath/Shower

Personally after a really long day of work, school or even just a really stressful day I like to take a nice hot shower. The hot water feels amazing when it hits, it instantly relaxes me.

Goodbye 2018 Hello 2019!

I will have to say this year was a bit rough. There were deaths in the family, and some eye opening experiences to certain people in my life. My grandma had two surgeries which led to some very stressful nights.

Aside from all the negative, I’ve learned people’s true colors and know who I can trust and who I can’t. My grandma turned 80 years old and has had two surgeries and is on her way to being independent again. I am also learning how to not stress out about the little things in life and to try and find that silver lining. I had two very healthy little puppers, who bring so much joy to my life.

This year, I started off running 48.6 miles, and ended it with finishing the Jeff Galloway’s 2018 mile challenge with 3000+ miles. As for 2019 I will do my best with not stressing and of course I will be starting off the year with a 5k run no more 48.6 miles for me…hopefully. I’m also praying this year for everyone’s health, happiness and sanity. I’m glad I’m starting off the year with the ones that mean the most to me especially those furry little ones of mine.

Happy New Year!
