Namjooning Readathon 2023: Day 14

Namjooning Readathon Update #2

This is the second update in the Namjooning Readathon, and I am learning to appreciate the little things in life. I usually am a stress case and have to have everything planned out and whatnot, BUT I have been feeling less stressed and learning to go with things because I can only control how I react to a situation and not the problem. Knowing this has made me feel much lighter and have a more positive outlook.

Book Prompts:

  • I read The Museum of Lost and Found for a book about a museum
  • The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea for a book with a flower on the cover

Activity Prompts:

  • I read at Aquatic Park in San Francisco
  • I hung out with friends
  • I rode a bike

I enjoyed both the books that I read in this update. Being at Aquatic Park was so much fun; I got time to myself, which I rarely get, but I also got to spend some quality time with my pup, which was honestly the BEST. I also got to ride my bike to my friend’s house to hang out for the listening party, the other highlight of my day. It was so lovely, and they gave me the recharge I needed this week.

” I think that there’s no need to live your life based off the standards of others. Everyone says ‘dream big,’ but I don’t think you have to live so fiercely like that all the time.”
