Namjooning Readathon 2023: Day 15

Posting from Disneyland!

My cousins and I are in Disneyland and having a blast. We arrived at the opening because the youngest wanted to do rope drop, and as her older cousins, we did what she wanted. I didn’t realize how much I had missed this place. It is truly one of my happy places, and it relaxes me so much, even with a crazy little nine-year-old who keeps us on our toes. I wouldn’t trade her for the world, and I love the energy and excitement she brings to my life.

We started in Toontown because we had NEVER seen it and wanted to try their new foods and drinks. Also, the youngest wanted a picnic in Toontown, so we did. It was so much fun. We sat under a tree with some delicious food. We got on Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway and loved it. It was so cute to see her face light up. After Toontown, we traveled to the planet Batuu. My cousin was super excited to try the Ronto Wrap, and of course, we got on Rise of the Resistance, and it was my cousin’s first time going on this ride. The middle cousin loved the entire experience, and the youngest could have done without the interrogation she got, but overall, she loved it.

Of course, we did hop on over to Disney California Adventure Park to Avengers Campus! We had a blast. We all got a new sipper because it was so adorable, and we couldn’t pass it up. Here we met some characters and just hung out. We are all MASSIVE Marvel fans, so being in the land was exciting, but we had to get on W.E.B Slingers. It was their second time, and let me tell you, the little one CHEATED!! She kept pushing or trying to distract us from getting the highest score, BUT she failed and lost. It was hilarious because she was busting up laughing throughout the entire ride, which truly made the ride even more enjoyable. Of course, she wanted to get on Toy Story Midway Mania to redeem herself, and she came in second place. She was still laughing throughout the entire ride, which was the best. Her laugh is so contagious. Before heading back to Disneyland, we rode on Radiator Springs Racers, and our car won! She was so excited. We also had to check out the Wharf area to see all the updates on San Fransokyo and take a picture of the bridge with the Baymax we made.

Now time to get back to the magic!
