Happy Sumerween Day 6!

I am so excited I have gotten further into The Drifting Classroom, and for me, it keeps getting better and better. I currently have over 500 pages, and it is so interesting. I can see why it has such great reviews. I’ll probably read another 100 pages tonight before bed and finish this book tomorrow morning.

The Drifting Classroom was serialized in the manga weekly Shōnen Sunday from 1972 to 1974, published as a collection of tankōban volumes by Shogakukan. It was later adapted into a Japanese live-action movie in 1987, directed by Nobuhiko Obayashi. The Love Letter is a Japanese TV drama loosely based on The Drifting Classroom, released in 2002. The series was published in English by Viz Media under Viz Signature from 2006 to 2008.
