MAME-Athon 2023: Day 3

TharnType Review

I have completed both TharnType, the book, and the series. Wow! They were similar, and the translations of the book were a bit off, but if you can look past that like I did, it was okay. They have a very toxic relationship; I am not a huge fan of that. There are also many harsh parts but other than that, the storyline is interesting. If you plan on reading or watching the series, please check out all the trigger warnings because the characters have an intense dark story that can be triggering for some people. Proceed with caution.

Next up on my list of books and series is going to be Love Storm and Love Sky with the show Love in the Air.

Books:

Love Storm

When ‘Rain’ starts to sincerely appreciate a senior for his kindness, fate lets him see the other side of that senior that no one else has ever seen. Finally, Rain declares war.
“You’ve been nice to everyone but me! I’ll reveal your true colors to everyone!”
However, as strange as it seems, the more he resists, the more he impresses his foe. The farther he runs away, the faster the foe chases after him. Rain desperately tries to figure out the way to win over this mischievous senior.
Or, perhaps, he has been defeated since the first day they met?

Love Sky

The intensified situation got ‘Sky’ cornered and forced him to get laid in order to get out. Sky tries to make up his mind, thinking of it as just a one night stand and no string attached.
However, what he doesn’t know is that ‘Phraphai’ won’t give up so easily. Sky almost opens up his heart for this clingy, flirty, shameless, narcissistic, and deceitful man, but the scar from the past still haunts him. Moreover, that raunchy egotist never leaves him alone! Sky keeps wondering when the sun will shine for him.

Love Storm is the first book following Rain and his senior. It is 510 pages, so it will take me a good minute to read, but I am so excited because I fell in love with this series through the trailer and knew I would be obsessed. I was entirely correct, and I cannot get enough of this story. It makes my tummy turn and my heart drop every time I watch the series, so I look forward to reading the book!

Series:

Love in the Air

Considered by many to be a cute guy, Rain shouldn’t have any trouble getting a girlfriend. Unfortunately, the only girl to ever truly capture his heart has her heart set on Phayu. With his devastating good looks and his bad-boy biker persona, it’s no wonder Phayu is the one senior at school every girl dreams of dating; which means Rain doesn’t stand a chance with his dream girl.

When fate brings Phayu into Rain’s life in an almost cruel and unexpected way, Rain decides it’s time to put Phayu in his place. Hoping to ruin Phayu’s reputation among the girls at school, Rain decides to make Phayu fall madly in love with him. While supporting Rain in his attempt at revenge, his best friend Sky, struggles with his own set of problems. Having been in a toxic relationship, Sky has no desire to find love ever again. But when he crosses paths with Prapai, he seems unable to escape the fate that seems to inexplicably bind them.

Overwhelmed by the rush of feelings that wash over them, every time Phayu and Prapai are around, Rain and Sky do their best to make sense of it all. But are either of them willing to accept what those feelings might mean?

This is one of my favorite series from her, I am 100% invested in these characters. They have a lot of personality and they can be very spicy but with a lot of humor too.

Have you heard of this series?
