Sonny Angel is a trendy little figure I have been trying to steer clear of for a while but failed. My mom saw a couple, remembered that I had mentioned these little figures, and purchased me one. She got me a pumpkin Sonny Angel to start my downfall of collecting. If you have never heard of Sonny Angel or know what I am talking about, here is an overview.

Sonny Angel is a little angel boy who likes wearing all sorts of headgear. He is always by your side to make you smile. Sonny Angel provides healing moments in your everyday life. He is a welcome sight at the entrance to your home, next to your bed, on your desk, and in many places.

At the beginning, Sonny Angel was not a mini figure. He was born at 18cm (7″0, wide-eyed doll. Born May 15th, 2004. The major feature of Sonny Angel Mini Figures is that each series is compromised of 12 different figures (regular series). Sonny Angel utilizes blind box packaging; you do not know which figure you will receive until you buy one and open the box.

When I first found out about Sonny Angel, I just thought they were adorable but the backstory and their meaning got me hooked on them. I was originally satisfied with just looking at them in the stores BUT it all changed when my mom gifted me my first two.
