It’s time to make some sweet potato apple pup treats for all the furry friends!

Ingredients:

• 2 L sweet potatoes
• 1 Apple
• 3 C flour
• 2 Eggs

Directions:

• Pre-heat oven to 400ºF and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
• Cut the potatoes into halves and place the cut side down. Bake for 40 minutes or until soft
• Peel and mash the potatoes until smooth
• Reduce the temperature to 375ºF
• Peel and shred the apples
• Add the apples, potatoes, eggs and flour in a large bowl and mix until well combined
• Divide the dough in half. Roll the dough into logs. Twist both sides of the logs together and cut into pieces
• Place the cut dough on the baking sheet and bake for 35 minutes or until they set

Of course let them cool before serving to the puppers. Once cooled the treats can be stored into an airtight container for up to two weeks. I hope your pups enjoy these like my littles do.
