Trese

If you have been following my posts, specifically the reading post you know that I have finished reading Trese. Trese is a Filipino Manga that features a young woman named Alexandra Trese, a detective who deals with crime of supernatural origin. It was written by Budgette Tan and illustrated by Kajo Baldisimo. The story was captivating and spooky at times and I was instantly drawn in. However, Trese is also an anime. So you know what I had to do, stay up all night and watch all six episodes of the Trese on Netflix.

I made some popcorn, dug up some worms and picked up the best batch of witches brew (milk tea) and sat in front of the TV and binge watched Trese. Of course we had blankets, my Lil Boo pillow and Belle. I will say the show did not disappoint. It was able to hold it’s own with the book. I would highly suggest both of the book and the anime.
