Candy Corn Amigurumi

Of course we have to make some cute little candy corn amigurumi for halloween, they are just too adorable.

Materials:

  • White Yarn
  • Yellow Yarn
  • Orange Yarn
  • Safety Eyes
  • Black Embroidery Thread
  • Crochet Needle
  • Poly Fil
  • Scissors
  • Needle

Abbreviation Key:

  • ch = chain
  • st = stitch (es)
  • sk = skip
  • sl st = slip stitch (es)
  • mc = magic circle / magic ring
  • sc = single crochet
  • sc2tog = single crochet 2 stitches together
  • dc = double crochet
  • sp = space
  • yo = yarn over
  • t = turn

Pattern:

Yellow-

  • Round 1: Ch 11, sc in 2nd ch st from hook and each st across until you reach the last ch st, 3 sc in last st, t to work down other side of st, sc in each st until last st, 3 sc in last st (24)
  • Round 2: 2 sc, sc in 9 st, 2 sc in next 3 st, sc in 9 st, 2 sc in last 2 st (30)
  • Rown 3 – 5: sc in each st around (30)

Change to Orange-

  • Round 6: * sc in 3 st, sc2tog* repeat * to * around (24)
  • Round 7 – 8: sc in next st and each st around (24)
  • Round 9: * sc in 2 st, sc2tog* repeat * to * around (18)
  • Change to white yarn
  • Round 10 – 11: sc in each st around (18)
  • Place safety eyes between rounds 5 & 6, 4 st apart

lightly stuff

  • Round 12: * sc, sc2tog* repeat * to * around (12)
  • Round 13: sc in each st around (12)

Finish stuffing

  • Round 14: * sc2tog* repeat * to * around (6)

Cut the yarn and finish off your amigurumi. When you are give your cany corn a mouth and you are all set! I do like to make these smaller but I kind of wing it to how I am feeling. I think these are adorable to use as decoration, to giveaway to family and friends.
