King the Land is a k-drama on Netflix about an inheritance fight, a charming heir clashes with his hardworking employee who’s known for her irressistable smile- which he cannot stand. The show stars – Lee Jun-ho, Lim Yoon-a and Go Won-hee. There are sixteen episodes each running about 60-77 minutes long. As of right now, there is only one season and I hope everyday they will announce season two. I am so invested in both characters and am not ready to let them go just yet.
Personally, I think this show did an amazing job with not only casting but the story line as well. THe characters are seen as ‘perfect’ when you start but of course with each episode you get to see more and more of their flaws and what made them the way they are today. Each episode peels back a layer of the character so graciously and you get to see them grow and learn from each other.
I find each characters story fascinating. Of course being the obsessed person that I am, I watched all sixteen episodes in one sitting. I also woke up one of my friends to make him watch it too so that I could talk to him about it. It took him a couple of weeks to finish and by the time that he was finished I had watched through it three more times. It is so good and I highly suggest checking it out because it will make you laugh!
