Love Yourself 2024: Day 23

Declutter!!!

One of my favorite things in the world is decluttering my entire house! Decluttering is a simple but challenging task because I would LOVE to keep everything and not donate or throw out anything, BUT I need more room for it, and the clutter stresses me out. I go through everything that has been packed, shoved, or just hanging around and overstaying their stay in the house and getting rid of it. I make three different piles: Donate, Toss, and Keep.

Although it is a lot of work, a HUGE weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I donated four garbage bags of clothes and tossed six bags of things that needed to rest. It was refreshing, and now my house looks much better; I have room in my closet and cupboards. Seeing everything so empty and put away nicely makes me feel much better. I want to keep it this empty and tidy, but I am not holding my breath for that one.
