Magical Rewind #2

Under Wraps was released October 25, 1997. Three twelve-year-old children, Amy, Marshall and Gilbert, encounter a mummy which has been undiscovered in three thousand years. While investigating, they accidentally revive him, but he must be returned to his resting place by midnight on Halloween or he will never find his long lost love.

Rewatching this movie as an adult is wild. It screams 90’s; it has opening scenes, stop motion work, and is just WOW! The opening scene of Under Wraps (for Disney) is pretty gory. This movie has a ton of questionable content, but I remember enjoying it as a child because I loved all the MONSTERS and GORE in one of the kid’s rooms. Most of the comments and chaos are likely why it is no longer on Disney+. If you can watch it, let me know your thoughts!
