Namjooning Readathon 2024: TBR

Hello Joon!

I am so excited about this readathon! Of course I have a lot of books that I hope to get to during this time but these are the books that I am planning on reading.

Prompts:

TBR:

Of course me being me I couldn’t stop here especially because Jin is being released from the military this month and it is a full on celebration welcoming him home. So, I picked a book for each of the other six members of BTS.

  • Jin – Sadie
    • Jin is the eldest member and although goofy, I feel as if Jin will do whatever he can to protect and make the younger members happy. This book tells the story of Sadie who goes after the man she thinks murdered her younger sister. I could have picked a lighter book for Jin, but this one stood out the most to me.
  • Suga – Alice Isn’t Dead
    • This book is about mental health and the struggle to keep going on. If you are a BTS fan you know that Yoongi is very open about his mental health and the struggles that he had.
  • J-Hope – The Monster of Elendhaven
    • How does this remind me of our sunshine Hobi? Simple. It reminds me of his album Jack in the Box. Hobi, like is said is full of sunshine and smiles but this book gives of Jack in Box and Cypher 4 vibes. This book is interesting and I would suggest reading the descriptions.
  • RM – Lost Boyz
    • I chose this one because it has the word lost in the title, which is honoring RM’s new song Lost. I was debating on picking a book just for RM and thought it would be a good way to slip in The Lost Boyz a book that I have been wanting to read for a while.
  • Jimin – The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor
    • I chose this book for Jimin because I remember reading/hearing something about him reading before bed on Bon Voyage? Im not sure how reliable my brain is BUT I am going with it.
  • V –Snotgirl
    • Snotgirl is about a fashion blogger with chronic allergies and I don’t know if Tae has chronic allergies BUT the fashion side reminds me of Tae and how amazing he always looks.
  • JK – The Avant Guards
    • I chose this one for JK because it is sporty and I feel like he is a very sporty person.

So many books and I cannot wait to dive into all of these. I had of course like four or five options for each member but what helped narrow it down was they were not available on the Kindle, or not translated yet.I hope you come along for this reading journey! It should be a pretty good time.
