I remember watching this when I was younger, thinking it was so cool that Disney released a movie with a main character in a wheelchair. Knowing that Justin was born with Spina Bifida hit home to me. I was born with Spina Bifida, too. I am not wheelchair-bound, but I do live in constant pain, but I push through it every day. Watching this as a kid was inspirational, knowing that Disney made a movie with a person like me in it. Watching it now, I can’t say anything wrong about it. I know it is such a DCOM movie, but it still warms my heart that he has Spina Bifida.
