You know I couldn’t wait long and the TIME IS FINALLY HERE! I have given myself the green light to go ahead and start decorating. What I mean by that is all of my decorations have accumulated in my living room, and the DIYs are done and ready to go up.
Starting with the inside, I have over 100 ghost friends hanging out with me and a ghost light that shines ghosts on the walls. These are the spirits of all the people who were murdered in the Play House on my porch. Honestly, the variety and number of ghosts in my house are ridiculous but add so much fun. You can find stickers, figures, clay, crocheted, painted, pictured, and glow-in-the-dark ghosts everywhere. There are even ghosts that are hanging. There are so many, and I am in heaven.
Outside is where all the fun happens, though. I put up some structures to make it look like a playhouse. Plush, there are some shutters on the window. You can find about ten animatronics this year, and let me tell you, they are so gorgeous! I love them so much. Next, we have some Barbies climbing up the railing as they try to join in on the fun. If you look closely, some of them have blood and knives in their hands. We, of course, could NOT have a doll house without the one and only Chucky. He is the pack’s leader, and although they all seem calm and collected, lock your doors and windows. Next, we have my twins; they love to swing. They also like to sing, so if you walk past them, you will hear them. We have a couple of antique dolls sitting and having a tea party with human body parts. Next, we have some dolls playing with toys that may or may not be covered in blood. Now, I can go on and on about the dolls, BUT there are too many. So, we will move on to Benny. He is our year-round skeleton that lives on our porch and is incorporated into every seasonal decoration. This year, he was a sacrifice and is hanging over some hungry dolls looking for food.
I am so excited because the fog machine is also up and running and the animatronics are ready to move and haunt all who pass the house. The front door is also getting decorated with a black wreath that will have skulls and bones around it. On the side of it will sit a table that has a sign “Adopt A Ghost” which whoever would like one can take a polymer clay ghost that I have made and every once in a while a crocheted ghost too. If you have been following me for a while I love giving so this part is especially exciting for me.
