Walt Disney World Holiday Guide 2024!

EPCOT:

Celebrating Traditions from all around the world here are things you can expect this Holiday season at EPCOT.

Stories from Around the World:

• As you walk through the World Showcase watch as the seasonal legends tell their stories with Holiday Storytellers. Guests can meet the mischievous Barn Santa in Norway pavilion for a great laugh, or head over to Italy to listen to La Befana, a kind hearted witch who visits on the eve of the Epiphany. Celebrate Lunar New Year with a Chinese Lion Dance or discover the traditions of Hanukkah between Morocco and France.

Jam at JOYFUL!:

• A celebration of the season will be in an all new location, CommuniCore Plaza. Guests can experience the joy of Christmas with Gospel, R&B, and Holiday songs of JOYFUL. You can only catch this show four times a day and trust me you don’t want to miss!

The Candlelight Processional:

• Personally, this is a must do every year. This will tell the story about Christmas through the most magical way possible. The Candlelight Processional also includes a Celebrity Narrator, a mass choir of Disney Cast Members, 50 piece orchestra, trumpets, and the incredible Voices of Liberty.
• Show times: 5 pm, 6:45 pm and 8:15 pm.

I would highly suggest checking this out at least once. I can promise you won’t regret it. It gives you the most magical feeling and a bit of extra pixie dust.

Animal Kingdom Park:

Merry Menagerie Puppeteers

• Starting November 12 guest can find the Merry Menagerie puppeteers at the Tree of Life. These adorable artisan-sculpted wintery creatures will brighten up your day with just one look.

75th Annual Dino Institute Holiday Party

• Santa will be the guest of honor for the 75th Anniual Dino Institute Holiday Party on the Pario of Restaurantosaurus. From November 12 – December 24, 2024 stop by and meet the one and only Mr. Claus.

Tree of Life Awakening

• The Tree of Life will have a dazzling display of color and light, where the animal spirits come to life. A great way to end your adventure at the park.

Disney Hollywood Studios:

Holiday Spirit Band

• It is time to jam out to the Holiday Spirit Band as they perform throughout the day.
  • There will also be new festive acts throughout the park, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled and ears open!
• Step into Andy’s backyard and become toy sized for some magical Holiday decorations!

For the First Time in Forever: Sing-A-Long

• Featuring everyone’s favorite snowman, Olaf, and celebratory songs of the season. Make sure to sing-a-long! It’s somethings all Frozen fans wont want to miss.

Sunset Seasons Greetings

• As night falls, you wont want to miss the transformation of Hollywood Tower Hotel into a Muppets Gingerbread masterpiece.
• Toy Story Hotel will transform into Arendelle and Dickensian village from Mickey’s Christmas Carol! 

Magic Kingdom Park:

• If you are looking for the most magic and immersive holiday decorations, walk right down the middle of Main Street USA, as you can smell the delicious baked treats under the sparkling and magical holiday decor.
• If you have a Magic Band+ there will be the Fab 50 Character, so be sure to wave for a magical interaction.

Frozen Holiday Surprise!

• This stage show is something you don’t want to miss, as friends from Arendelle ring in the season together and help transform Cinderella Castle into a shimmering crystalized palace.

Jingle Cruise!

• The Jingle Cruise is back and opens TODAY, November 2, 2024. Incase you thought that the Jungle Cruise couldn’t get any better, you have not seen The Jungle Cruise.

Disney Springs:

Christmas Tree Stroll

• Enjoy this enchanting Christmas Tree Stroll with holiday music, while surrounded by Walt Disney Studios, Disney Animation, Pixar, Star Wars and Super Hero themed trees. This year, enjoy stunning displays featuring Mufasa: The Lion King, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Coco, Lilo and Stitch, and more! If you have a MagicBand+ there will be even more magic as you walk through.

Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar

• Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar will have seasonal sips and bites, including delicious offerings

Disney Resort Hotels:

• Make sure to explore the gingerbread displays at several Disney Resort hotels! You can even embark on a gingerbread crawl!

runDisney

• Enjoy some holiday magic with the runDisney Virtual 12Ks of Christmas. From December 1 to 31, this festive fitness virtual event offers three virtual 4K races, perfect for sharing the spirit of the season with friends and family. 
  • As always, my mom and I will be participating in this event and I absolutely can’t wait!

As any holiday there will be food and beverages all throughout the park that I know I don’t want to miss. Plus keep and eye out for Santa Claus as he will be making an appearance throughout the parks. I am so excited to start this holiday season!
