Cousin’s Day at Smith’s Family Farm!

Every year the cousins and I get together to pick out a tree that we decorate together. It gives us time to talk, and really catch up on some deeper conversations with one another. Plus we always get the cutest pictures and the greatest memories are made when we are all frozen and wet!

Of course we were living our best bundles life with scarves, gloves, beanies and earmuffs with long fuzzy socks because IT WAS FREEZING!!! First things first we all got a hot beverage. I think we all got a hot chocolate and two ordered a coffee. So I was happy to walk around with something nice and warm. As we walked around the farm looking for the best tree we made sure to take A TON of photos. Two of the cousins are very into film and they had their cameras and I am so excited to see how those ones turn out when they are developed. I decided to bring out my camera and film some of our craziness, this of course is just for us but we may post some on our insta.

When we all get together we have so much fun and make the best memories together. Plus our tree usually has a bit of a chaotic theme because we do specifically go out and pick new ornaments that represent our year or what we were feeling at the time. So no matter what we have the most unique decorations with the trees. Since we do get distracted A LOT and very easily we were there forever. I am so glad that we were able to get a before and after picture of us because of the amount of wind, rain and falls we all had while searching for our tree.

All and all it was a lot of laughs and great talks with about three hot chocolates to keep warm from the freezing weather. We did meet and take a picture with Santa, even though it was against my wishes because he terrifies me. So, I of course was as far away from him as possible, but the youngest loved meeting him and telling him all her stories and what she wants for Christmas.
