I don’t know about you, but I feel like this is going to be the BEST Mardi Gras celebration Universal Studios has had. Don’t get me wrong, they are all such a joy to be at but this one feels MIND BLOWING! Here is what you can expect.
Mardi Gras will take place February 1 – March 30. There will be food, music and of course a special parade and lots of beautiful decorations.

I am so excited for all the performances, mainly Foster the People, All Time Low, and TLC! BUT hold on because there is more!! The Mardi Gras parade is back and better than ever, with new floats from the Bayou. Plus we will have some delicious foods like:
- Hot Maple Lacquered Salmon
- Get a taste of freshly grilled salmon topped with a Canadian maple syrup glaze, served with a mixed salad of chickpeas, dried cranberries, tomatoes, baby kale and a mustard vinaigrette.
- Spicy Szechuan Chicken Bites
- Crispy chicken is topped with Szechuan powder, chili and sesame seeds, served in a takeout container with white rice.
- Colombian Burger
- freshly grilled, all-beef burger with a Colombian twist, topped with monterey jack, pineapple cabbage slaw, cilantro garlic sauce and potato sticks.
- Beignets
- these sweet, fried pastries, served hot and topped with oodles of powdered sugar.
- Duck a L’Orange Crepe
- combining two French specialties. Buckwheat crepes are cooked fresh, filled with shredded duck, onion and cheese, topped with orange
- Pinchos de Lechón
- Savor pork char-grilled on an open flame, topped with guava barbecue sauce and served with pan sobao (bread). This dish comes from the Puerto Rican countryside.
- Cajun Mac & Cheese
- this cavatappi pasta with andouille sausage, onions, celery and green bell peppers with a Cajun cream sauce.
- Potato Dosa (Vegan)
- These crispy, savory crepes are filled with potatoes, onions and black mustard seeds, and accompanied by a cilantro
- Leberkäse
- This traditional Bavarian beef and pork meatloaf dates back over 200 years. The meat is griddled right to order and then served on a delicious pretzel bun with sauerkraut and sweet mustard.
Not only do we have great musical performances BUT some DELICIOUS treats to eat as well!This year’s Mardi Gras is going to be a blast! Are you going to go and enjoy it in all of its glory?
