runDisney announced that the Disneyland Resort will be taking a hiatus in 2026 after the conclusion of the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend. This will be due to the construction of the new lands and attractions. runDisney will continue to offer races at Walt Disney World Resort, as well as virtual offerings.

Sign ups for the 2026 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend will open April 29, 2025. If you want to sign up and participate in this event before the hiatus now is your chance.
