The Lost Boys (Amazon Prime)

Teenage brothers Michael (Jason Patric) and Sam (Corey Haim) move with their mother (Dianne Wiest) to a small town in northern California. While the younger Sam meets a pair of kindred spirits in geeky comic-book nerds Edward (Corey Feldman) and Alan (Jamison Newlander), the angst-ridden Michael soon falls for Star (Jami Gertz) — who turns out to be in thrall to David (Kiefer Sutherland), leader of a local gang of vampires. Sam and his new friends must save Michael and Star from the undead.

This movie is a classic for Halloween in my household. The Lost Boys came out July 31, 1987 and it has played in my house since forever. My cousins and I can quote this like no ones business and we do ALL THE TIME. One of my favorite events I have attended for The Lost Boys was watching it on the beach in Santa Cruz where they filmed part of the movie. It was the COOLEST thing ever! It was at night, with strangers and it was creepy and a perfect night. Definitely check out this movie if you have a chance because it is so good!
