Ang Mutya ng Section E or the Jewel of Section E Season 1

Ang Mutya ng Section E is a Philippine teen romantic comedy television series. It is based on the Wattpad book trilogy of the same name by the Filipino author Lara Flores, who is better known by her pseudonym Eatmore2behappy. The series stars Ashtine Olviga, Andres Muhlach and Rabin Angeles.

You can find this show on Viva One. It has 16 episodes, and they already announced a season 2, which I am so excited about because this season killed me. If you have been around here for a while, you know I LOVE reading, so when I found out that this had a book, I immediately did my research to try and find it, but unfortunately, it was only translated into English (partly) on Wattpad. Of course, I have been reading bits and pieces of it as it gets translated, BUT my dear friends who visited the Philippines brought me back some copies. They told me it was for my birthday, so I had to wait to get my hands on them. 

Jay-Jay is my all-time favorite character; she is strong, vulnerable, beautiful, and unapologetically her. She tries to please everyone and make up for everything that has happened, even if she doesn’t know what happened in the past. Ci-N is just funny and a great comedic relief character. Felix and Calix are also my favorites. There is A LOT of bullying in this show and a lot of trauma, so please check out the trigger warnings before jumping in. AMNSE seems like a chill teen show, but this has a lot of layers and depth for each episode and character.
