Drama Pick: Leap Day

Leap Day

Day (Pond Naravit Lertratkosum) and Night (Dew Jirawat Sutivanichsak) were both born on February 29, but their unusual birthday has also afflicted them with an unusual curse: every birthday, they lose someone that they hold dear, causing them both to dread their birthdays. As their twentieth birthdays approach, Day and Night fear for two people in particular that they’re close to – Day is caring for Ozone (Gun Atthaphan Phunsawat), the autistic son of a distant relative who has passed away, while Night has fallen for a young woman named Dream (Pahn Pathitta Pornchumroenrut), who brings joy and light into his life. Day and Night decide that it’s time to find a way to end the curse for good. Will they succeed in uncovering the mystery behind their misfortune, or will their next birthday bring more tragedy?

Firstly, I would like to start off by saying I knew and loved of three out of four main characters which is why I decided to watch it, but I fell in love with all four of the main characters instantly. If you want a show that will keep you guessing and doesn’t really have a “bad guy” this is the show for you. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time and at the end I cried so hard! They have 12 episodes and each and everyone of them give you suspense and mystery and just all of the feels, but the one that destroyed me was the very last episode, episode 12. I won’t say any spoilers but I highly suggest you checking out this show.
