Halloween Came Early!

This year, Halloween came early and I was in shock but a happy ghoul. I started shopping May 2 at Target! Insanely early, but very much satisfying. I was able to make my first haul and at a pretty steady pace other places were following a long.

My shopping does have a rhyme and reason (majority of the time), it’s so easy to just go crazy but I don’t have a lot of storage space so, I have to have some self control (sometimes). I plan out my themes about a year in advance so majority of the items I purchase were either on sale or purchased in advanced. I also like to try and reuse as much as I can to help save some money. This actually helps me A LOT because I can reuse either for Christmas or another Halloween decor theme. I am human and this doesn’t always happen because there are items that I absolutely love (my ghosts), but my neighbors actually borrow and use some of the items that I have or want it for their own collection which I don’t mind.

Animatronic’s are now a must for all of my themes, they are just so much fun and add another depth of spooky to my themes, blow molds and wallflowers have been a recent obsession during my hunts. I have a really hard time saying no to them. It’s really a struggle for me. Or anything Disney.

If you plan on going Halloween Decor Hunting, my suggestion is HAVE FUN and don’t worry about what others say. Your happiness should always come first.
