Chai Spiced Muffin

It is time to get cozy and bake some delicious Chai Spiced Muffins!

Ingredients:

  • 2 C flour
  • 1 C granulated sugar
  • 1 Tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 Tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 Tsp salt
  • 1 Tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 Tsp ground cardamom
  • 1/2 Tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 Tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 Tsp black peper
  • 1 C buttermilk
  • 1/2 C butter (melted)
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 Tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375ºF and line a muffin tin with paper liners. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl mix together your dry ingredients. Flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and all spices.
  3. In another bowl mix together your wet ingredients. Buttermilk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour your wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. Make sure you don’t over mix.
  5. Scoop the batter into the muffin tin filling each cup up less than halfway.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let them cool and ENJOY!

These make the house smell so delicious and plus you get a nice treat. I like to eat them when they are still warm. I hope you enjoy this recipe and if you make them let me know!
