Universal Horror Unleashed Las Vegas 2025!
I was in Vegas for the G-Dragon concert with some time to kill before the show started, so I bought four tickets and headed to Universal Horror Unleashed.
What is universal Horror Unleashed? Simple it is a year round immersive horror attraction created by Universal Destination and experiences located in the AREA15 District of Las Vegas. There are four houses: Universal Monsters, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Scarecrow the Reaping, and The Exorcist. There are four themed areas each designed to plunge you into a world of horror. In select areas you can find food and beverages to help you push though the fright.
This was an even better time because I went with three people who have never been to a normal Horror Nights event. My mom, Uncle and friend. It was the absolute BEST TIME. Plus the AC was blasting and that made it even better because it was 105 outside and I was melting. I picked the 2 pm time slot for us to allow us time to chill and really take in the Horror.

My mom hates anything to do with The Exorcists. So even though she thought it was great and it creeped her out the most it was her least favorite because she hates it. Universal Monsters was PERFECT for her. The scare actors were on point and they were everywhere and coming from every which way. It was a great time, she didn’t care for the Phantom of the Opera area but she really enjoyed this house which is why it is her number one pick and she wanted to walk through again.
My Uncle had a great time in Scarecrow the Reaping. It was his all time favorite, the theme, the scare actors everything about it. Texas Chainsaw Massacre he said the scares were obvious for him and that he enjoyed it but didn’t feel the need to walk through again.
My friend HATED The Exorcist even before we went it which is why it is his least favorite. He was already freaked out and dreading going in there that he said he slightly spaced out trying to keep his calm. He LOVED Universal Monsters because Gill-man from The Creature from the Black Lagoon or fish guy as he puts it scared the life out of him and that is why Universal Monsters was number one in his heart.
I absolutely had a blast in all of the houses. The team members were great at spacing everyone out, being super interactive and were just a blast to interact with. I can’t remember the team members name but they were at the front of the house right before you walk through Scarecrow the Reaping and let me tell you they were hyping everyone up. They were so happy and spooky it was insane and I absolutely loved their vibe. The exorcist however takes the place as number one in my heart. I absolutely LOVED it, from the finger wave to my mom pulling and pushing me everywhere because she hated it. The Exorcist was great and I would walk through again. That being said Universal Monsters was also up there. I felt this was so immersive and so much to see in this house and it was a really good time. I loved that Frankensteins Monster came up to me and even though I wanted to give him a hug I resisted. I felt they were very up close and personal and very much in my face which I absolutely love, but I also love a classic universal Monster.
We unfortunately did not have time to eat because my Uncle wanted to take us to a different place, but man the food looked and sounded amazing and I wish I could have stayed in there all day. Plus, I would have loved to M3GAN and of course the one and only Jack and Chance but we had to leave. I would 100% recommend going and I will also be returning to do the things that I missed. We were also lucky enough to not have any lines for anything. We would have one or two groups of people in front of us before the house, but I think it was just because they were spacing us all out. If we didn’t stop to look around and chill in between houses we could have gotten the houses done within ten minutes.
Do you like Universal Horror Nights? If so, will you be checking out Universal Horror Unleashed?
