San Francisco Union Square Ice Rink!

The Safeway Holiday Ice Rink in Union Square presented by Kaiser presented by Kaiser Permanente opened with a festive evening ceremony to kick off the holiday ice skating season. Drag Queens on Ice made their return this year to open up the rink. Unfortunately, the cousins and I did NOT make it to opening day BUT we did go this morning.

We grabbed out hot cocoa, coffee and tea and did an hour session before walking around the area and of course checking out the new PopMart. It was a lot of fun and honestly, the perfect weather to skate. The sun was out but it was cold and we were bundled and heated up from the inside out by out hot drinks.
