Fairmont Gingerbread House!

This is honestly a staple for at least me. I know there are a lot of people that don’t know about the Fairmont Gingerbread House but honestly it is such a sight to see and I highly suggest checking it out!

This is such a special gingerbread house because it is two stories tall and stands at 22 feet. Made with thousands of bricks of gingerbread and gallons of royal icing, making it smell so delicious in the lobby. This life size piece takes 520 hours to create this beautiful victorian structure. 8,000 baked 12×4 inch gingerbread cookie bricks that are cemented together and decorated with a mountains of icing which requires 150 gallons of egg whites and thousands of pounds of powdered sugar.

It is alll up and ready to see it in all of its glory, so please if you are in the city go and check it out. I promise you wont regret it.
