Blogmas 2025: Day 18

Apres Village

If you want to get into the spirit of winter, make sure to check out Apres Village in East Palo Alto. They offer an alpine-inspired menu.  Start your journey off with a cup of soup du jour, followed by four shared savoury dishes like artisanal cheese and charcuterie boards, truffled potato gratin, seafood pie, wagyu beef sliders and seasonal pizzas. Finish with decadent desserts including Gianduja lava cake, apple tart, red wine winter fruit stew or cozy s’mores by the fire.

Reserve a semi-private chalet, so you can enjoy holiday movies on a flat-screen TV, featuring a new festive film every weekend, creating the perfect ambiance. The Chalets are only available by reservation only so make sure to book yours now! You can also add on a themed Chalet which will include, The Chocolate Factory, Gingerbread House, Santa’s Workshop and The Nutcracker, each offering an immersive escape into iconic holiday worlds.

Now aside from those there is still so much to discover like the chair lift corner where you can sit back and drink your choice of beverage and relax. If you are like me you want to see how much food you can stuff in your mouth before you explode, they got you! The festive food trucks offer hand-made hot chocolate with marshmallow sticks for roasting, plus seasonal sweet treats. Guests can pick up their hot chocolate, roasting stick and marshmallow and chocolate combo, then stake out a spot and create their own fireside ritual. The marshmallows are by far my favorite thing there other than the atmosphere.
