I know I talk about this a lot but I really love my e-reader and incase you are new to my blog and need are curious about my reading preference. Here is the scoop.
I am an e-reader ghoul and I love my iPad mini. She is perfect, she is a star and sometimes I forget to charge her and her batteries dies BUT this is why I have an external charger. My iPad mini works for me and it is set up exactly how I like her. Her name is Joonie based off of RM’s song Wild Flower. She has stickers in the back and a clear Casetify case. Joonie is I think two years old now and she still works like a gem considering I use her daily and for hours.
Joonie is all about books and is literally my mobile library. She goes everywhere with me and always ready for an adventure. The apps on her are specifically books apps. No Youtube, no games, book apps only! I will make another reel about Joonie if anyone is interested in what she looks like.
- Kindle (apple/google)
- Apple Books
- GMMTV Books (apple/google)
- Lunarwire
- MEB
- Nook (apple/google)
- Webtoon
- Shonen Jump (apple/google)
- Manta
- WebNovel
- Audible
I do find myself using Kindle, Shonen Jump, Webtoon, MEB and Apple Books the most. The nook I keep because there is usually a book I want that I can only find on that app.
I have a couple of apps I use to track my books:
One of the newer apps I am loving is Pagebound. It is a female built app and it offers a lot. On the home page you set a reading goal, join a quest, follow readers who share the same taste as you and import your library. The Library part offers reading status, like: Reading, TBR, interested, finished, DNF and Paused. If you are looking for a fun new app I would suggest checking out Pagebound.
- Kindle – 2,754
- MEB – 151
- GMMTV – 3
- Apple Books – 969
- Nook – 123
In total way too many books! 4,000 books I have been collecting since forever. I am so thankful and blessed and a lot of these books have been from Stuff Your Kindle Events, which I post about on the 1st or 2nd of every month. It is a great way to build your eLibrary.
What apps do you use?
