Lavender!
Lavender is recognized as a calming scent, but there are a lot more benefits to it than that.
- Improves sleep quality
- Reduces headache intensity
It is used as aromatherapy, teas, and topical oils for overall relaxation.
- Reduces anxiety, stress, pain and inflimation
- Can sooth an upset stomach and bloating
- Helps hair and scalp
Now, I love the smell of lavender and because my family and I have anxiety I usually stick something lavender in their gifts. A couple of the products I like to get them are:
- Lavender Shower Steamers
- This makes your showers small like lavender and honestly it’s almost like being in a spa
- Deep Sleep
- This is a bar from lush and it is lavender and chamomile and its like a massage that smells delicious
- Sleepy
- Although, this is a body spray I love to use it as like an air freshener and spray it around my house after a good clean
These are some of my favorites but the possibilities are endless. We use to have a pendant that had lavender we would take on the go but we all stopped using it. Some of my cousins wear a lavender scented lotion, candles or drink lavender tea. Lavender doesn’t help with just humans but our furry little friends as well. I don’t ingest and or feed it to belle but having the smell is very comforting.
