March Monsters!
I can’t believe we are almost in March, which means March Monsters is back for another year of monsterous fun.
What is March Monsters?
- It is a month long celebration of Monsters. This year each week will represent a new monster which I will post up more about that March 1.
Readathon?
- You know we had to bring in a readathon! Since, monsters come in all shapes and forms we will hopefully be celebrating them all as we read.
Weekly Theme:
- Week 1: Mythological/Folklore
- Week 2: Vampires
- Week 3: Monsters Under the bed
- Week 4: Werewolves
- Week 5: Serial Killers
Prompts:
- Read a book with a mythical/folklore monster in the story
- Read a book with vampires
- Read a middle grade book
- Read a book about werewolves
- Read a book with a serial killer or murderer in it
This is my first time testing out a weekly theme for a readathon and I am kind of excited to see how this goes! There are so many books I look forward to reading. I hope you come along for the journey, I promise, not all monsters bite 🙂
