I’ve got a jar of HEARTS!

If you have ever watched pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, Captain Jack Sparrow sings “I’ve got a jar of dirt” and that’s basically what I was going for. ANYWAYS, at the start of the month, I made a mason jar for each person in my family, a couple of friends and of course myself. Self love. I decorated the jars and wrote their names on it and each day I wrote something that I loved about them. I also wrote just a note on somedays like if something reminded me of them or if I remembered a fun memory we had together. Ultimately, this led to a small jar of hearts for each cousin, aunt, uncle and grandma.

Today, I delivered them to their house, with a flower, candy and a small note explaining what was in the jar. I hope it brings a smile to their faces and they remember how much they are loved.
