The new Disney Plus streaming service allows customers to pay a monthly fee to access the library full of Disney and Fox’s Legacy content. It will be available on November 12, 2019, and the “initial” price will be $7 a month, or $70 a year.
Hulu and ESPN sports-focused ESPN plus will run on the same platform as Disney Plus allowing customers to subscribe with the same password and credit card information. Disney announced that customers who would like to subscribe individually to these platforms would have the option to do so, but they will also have a bundle option at a discount. Hulu is said to contain more adult-oriented content, like the new animated Marvel series and Deadpool.
Disney Plus will include all of the Disney family friendly content, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Pixar, and National Geographic and all thirty season of The Simpsons. In the first year, it will also stream The Sound of Music, The Princess Bride and Malcolm in the Middle. It will also home to new shows and movies like the High School Musical Series, Three men and a Baby (remake), The Paper Magician, Escape to Witch Mountain the series, Live action Lady and the Tramp, Be our Guests (cooking competition), Loki series, Scarlett Witch series, Sword and the Stone remake and so much more.
