Hocus Pocus Filming Locations
July 16, 1993, the cult classic Hocus Pocus. If you are a fan of this Halloween classic, you may want to visit some of these iconic places, which are all within walking distance from each other.
Pioneer Village 98 West Avenue, Salem Ma
Pioneer Village is in the opening scene where we are first introduced to Thackerey Binx. It was built in 1930, making it America’s first living history museum. Tours are offered June- September seasonally.
Phillips Elementary School on Salem Common
Phillips Elementary was a functioning school until 1992 and as it is still around the building is not open to the public.
The Ropes Mansion 318 Essex Street
This is Allisons house. So when visiting please be respectful to the home owners, because they have opened up the gardens in the back of the house to the public.
Old Town Hall
This is the location of the Halloween party the parents go to, to dance until they die
Salem Common
The Salem Common is where the outdoor scenes were filmed.

This is where we are first introduced to Ice and Jay as they pop up from behind the gravestones.
