NuiMO’s originated in Japan, where I picked up Max Goof, my first nuiMO’s. NuiMO’s is a blend of the Japanese word nuigurumi, meaning plush doll, and the moderu, meaning model. NuiMO’s characters are intended to be an extension of yourself with the flexibility to change the look to suit one’s unique personality and taste. They are being released in the states Tuesday, January 19, 2021. The first nuiMO’s arriving are Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck, and Stitch and Angel, along with a variety of outfits and accessories. On the first Monday of every month, Disney will release new costumes, accessories, and characters, starting February 1, 2021. I can’t wait to pick up more muiMO’s friends!
