Blogtober 2021: Day 19

Pumpkin Juice

My youngest cousin is a huge fan of Harry Potter and wanted to try Pumpkin Juice. She asked me if I could make her some, so I found a recipe that I thought she would enjoy.

Ingredients:

  • 64 oz Apple Juice
  • 16 oz Peach nectar
  • 15 oz canned Pumpkin
  • 3/4 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Tsp Ginger
  • 1/2 Tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/4 Tsp All Spice
  • 2 Tsp Vanilla Extract

Directions:

  • In a large stock pot, add apple juice, peach nectar, pumpkin puree, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and all spice. Whisk together
  • Turn hear to high and bring to a boil
  • Reduce hear to medium-low and let it simmer for 5 minutes
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract
  • Drink it hot or cold

My little cousin enjoys it cold, but she doesn’t care for hot drinks, but some older cousins enjoy it hot. So it is a preference. I am not a huge fan of pumpkin, so I did not like it either way. We also added whipped cream and sprinkles as a request, and it felt like I was drinking a pumpkin pie. I hope you enjoy this recipe if you decide to try it out. This will last in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
