New Holiday Traditions

Our new Holiday tradition started last year during the lockdown. My grandma was feeling down because she wanted to spend time with her family. Since we were all trying to keep her safe, we FaceTimed a lot with her. On Christmas Eve, we took our usual family tradition of walking around different neighborhoods that have been decorated and made it into a game. We split into two teams, drove around other areas (a new one each weekend), and counted the Christmas trees. Whoever has the least will buy the winners a cup of hot cocoa. We laughed so much that we had tears streaming down our faces. I love seeing my grandma happy, and I know she enjoys it just as much this year.
