Cookie Day at Nani’s!

Wow! I always forget how lucky I am to have a BIG family until we all get together. We had the kids, grandkids and great grandkids come together together and bake cookies from Nani’s cookbook. There were 6 children, 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 3 pups in one place all at once. Honestly, it is always fun when the cousins get together because we are ALWAYS up to no good. We had throw back music, dance off, chocolate chip war, and UNO. We started out with a movie (Edward Scissorhands) which moved to music and seeing who can get Nani up to dance. Oh, did I forget to mention there was a flour war between the different generations? That happened and flour was EVERYWHERE. Don’t worry though we did actually make cookies, we made chocolate chip, oatmeal (no raisins), and peanut butter with a kiss on top. We had the least amount of chocolate chip because everyone was eating the dough, and we only broke one spoon.

Overall we made a GIANT mess but had a lot of fun together. It’s always nice that we are able to still make some amazing memories especially with our Grandma. What is your favorite type of cookie?
